We are looking for a talented DevOps professional to join our team.

​

Our development team is a group of experienced and talented engineers who are passionate about both our product and customers. As a member of the team, you will be involved in product design and implementation, develop solutions across our technology stack, and regularly deploy changes to production. For this role we prefer candidates in New Zealand time zones, but highly qualified remote candidates will be considered and should apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Bicep scripts to manage Azure resources. 

  • Proactively monitor Azure resource health with Azure Monitor and Defender for Cloud. 

  • Stay informed about upcoming changes and updates to Azure services. 

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. 

  • Onboard and support customers and internal stakeholders in our product, 11Ants Insights Cloud. 

  • Build and maintain Power BI reports to surface cost management information and operational insights. 

  • Administrative activities in Office 365, such as user creation, data backup, and information protection. 

  • Manage, update, and configure devices enrolled in Intune. 

  • Configure and maintain multi-factor authentication, application protection, and other policies via Conditional Access. 

  • Ensure data is ingested, signals analyzed, and alerts monitored in Sentinel. 

  • IT administrative activities, such as PC maintenance, user support and troubleshooting, and FortiGate firewall admin. 

  • Maintain and improve practices for certificate and secret management.

Who You Are (Ideally!)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • 5+ years relevant professional experience cloud engineering and DevOps, preferably in Azure. 

  • Experience administering the Office 365 suite, including Azure Information Protection and Defender for Office 365. 

  • Knowledge of IaC technologies such as Bicep or Terraform. 

  • Experience with SIEM technologies such as Sentinel, and MDM/MAM technologies such as Intune. 

  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell. 

  • Be comfortable with Git version control and branching strategies such as Gitflow. 

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. 

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
